The Electronic Computing Center held an awareness workshop entitled : “ The Dangers of electronic blackmail ” with the aim of spreading digital awareness and introducing the increasing risks of electronic crimes and methods of preventing them .
The workshop included an explanation of the most prominent methods of electronic blackmail targeting internet users and social media platforms , providing practical guidance on protecting accounts and personal data and ways to behave properly when exposed to any electronic threat, which contributes to boost participants' the culture of digital security.
